With almost 20 years’ experience in the dental field, and over six of them in Oral and Periodontal Surgery, Trish is able to assist patients in understanding their treatment and what to expect throughout the course of their visits. Of all the aspects of dentistry Trish has been involved in, periodontics is her passion. Outside the office Trish loves being with her family and exploring the great outdoors.
Lynne
Lynne has been working as a certified dental assistant for over 20 years. She joined Dr. Colfer’s team in 2009. Lynn is proud to be a part of a team that strives to provide excellent periodontal care to patients. She enjoys the dynamics of working in a specialty practice.
Mandy
Mandy has been a surgical assistant since 2007 and has been working as a dental assistant for the past 10 years. She went to Malaspina University College in Nanaimo, now known as Vancouver Island University. Mandy is a natural at making her patients feel comfortable in the dental environment, and she is knowledgeable at explaining your treatment before and after periodontal care. She is fluent in both Punjabi and Hindi. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her lovely son and husband.
Johanna
Johanna graduated from the School of Dental Hygiene Dalhousie University in 1984. At this point, she moved to Ontario where she successfully completed the provincial qualifying exams and was granted a license to practise dental hygiene. Johanna lived and worked in Ottawa for three years before she visited and fell in love with British Columbia.
Johanna would move to Vancouver in 1987 and obtain her certificate to administer local anaesthesia. She entered into what has become her passion, the application of hygiene therapy in the field of periodontics.
She has worked in several periodontal practises since that time. After the arrival of her two children, she once again relocated to the South Surrey area and was fortunate to secure a position with Dr. Colfer at the White Rock Periodontal and Implant Surgery Centre. She has worked with the team since 2003.
Johanna is proud to say that she is a long standing member of the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association and the British Columbia Dental Hygiene Association. She is recognized by the National Dental Hygiene Certification Board and has been both a speaker and participant in local dental hygiene study groups.
When Johanna is not pursuing professional interests, she loves to spend time at home with her two children and can often be found at local parks and community centres.
